I figured vacation was a good time to update the old blog. The girls got out of school last week and we packed up the next day to head to Ft. Lauderdale. We did stop for a quick visit to Micky on the way down. It was really a great time to travel. Apparently all schools were not out yet so Disney was not too crowded. When we got into Ft. Lauderdale Sunday of Memorial Day weekend it was very crowded and busy. By the next day it seemed like we had the town to ourselves. The beaches were not crowded and the town was quiet everywhere we went. The girls really enjoyed the beach, water taxi tours and the pool. We also went to the butterfly gardens which was okay but way overpriced and HOT. . It was a really nice, relaxing week. The beach and water were beautiful and we did alot of fellowshipping with the ocean since we do not know what it will be like when we get home with all of the oil catastrophe.
