Today was my day to become yet another year older.. Funny how quickly August 17 seems to come around every year. It is just hard for me to want to add that extra number onto my age each year.. I don't feel any older so why do I have to count it?? I do feel like I have gained wisdom, patience, tolerance through these years so I guess it is worth the price to pay in numbers..
So today was a good day. The girls at worked made me delicious shrimp , crab and corn bisque and a killer chocolate cake. When I got home my girls and dad had cards and gifts and a yummy DQ ice cream turtle cake. No counting calories today...only all my wonderful blessings!
